Zonal Commissioner Amit Narayana and Narsingi Commissioner Krishna Mohan Reddy jointly organised a Census Awareness Program for residents of Gandipet and Kokapet, encouraging citizens to complete their self-enumeration online at the earliest.

The commissioners interacted directly with residents during the program, stressing the importance of accurate census data in shaping government policy and improving public services.

"The data collected through the census directly determines the allocation of resources for infrastructure, healthcare, education and civic amenities in your area. Every household that goes unregistered means your neighbourhood gets less than it deserves."

Register in Under 2 Minutes

In a significant push for digital participation, the Government of India has streamlined the self-registration process — citizens can now complete their census entry in under two minutes using a smartphone.

Residents of Neopolis, Gandipet and Kokapet can self-register at: se.census.gov.in

Why This Matters for Citizens

The initiative is part of a broader outreach effort to maximise participation in the upcoming national census, ensuring that rapidly growing urban areas like Neopolis — which have seen significant population influx in recent years — are accurately represented in official records.

Residents are encouraged to complete the process at their earliest convenience. The self-registration portal is available in multiple languages and does not require any documents to be uploaded.
